Lionel Messi sent a rare message to former club Barcelona after seeing Lamine Yamal & Co trounce Real Madrid 4-0 at Santiago Bernabeu.

Messi remains a big supporter of Barca and sent a message to the club after their “beautiful” victory against Real Madrid.
In Barcelona’s Instagram post celebrating their 4-0 win against their bitter rivals, Messi commented: “What a beautiful victory!!”

There has been talk of Barcelona potentially hosting the 2025 La Finalissima between Spain and Argentina at Camp Nou once they reopen their stadium after renovations are completed.
Should the plans go ahead, Barca are said to be planning a tribute to Messi celebrating his achievements with the Catalan side.
