In a conversation with La Sexta, Ronaldo declared himself as the ‘most complete footballer’ of all time, ahead of greats of the game like Messi, Maradona and Pele.
The Al-Nassr star explained his statement by claiming that he can shoot with both feet, has an incredible pace and strength and can jump as well, which makes him unique.
The debate regarding who can be considered the greatest player of all time continues to rage following Ronaldo’s bold claim, and Inter Miami boss Mascherano has now joined the discussion.
The former Argentina and Barcelona midfielder, who now manages his ex-team-mate Messi in the MLS, has shared his ‘thoughts’ on the Portugal icon’s GOAT claim.
Speaking on BBC Match of the Day, the Herons manager said: “I have a lot of respect for Cristiano (Ronaldo) and I don’t have to analyse his opinions.
“It’s what he thinks.
“I have my own thoughts and it isn’t that.”
