Liverpool, who are considering a move late in the summer window, may provide Kalvin Phillips a way out of Manchester City.
The holding midfielder has registered on the Anfield recruitment radar for some time.
Liverpool were among those to express interest in the England international during his time at Leeds.
Phillips opted to head for Manchester in the summer of 2022, with City putting a £50 million ($64m) deal in place.
The 27-year-old has collected Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League and UEFA Super Cup winners’ medals while at the Etihad Stadium, but made just 21 appearances last season and is yet to figure under Pep Guardiola this term.
With that in mind, talkSPORT claims that Liverpool are considering rekindling their interest.
