While many may have accepted fate and moved on with the announcement that plans to remove subsidy has been suspended, some Nigerians are not taken it lightly.
In a bid to pressure the Federal Government to do right by the people, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), has condemned the decision to suspend subsidy removal for Premium Motor Spirit.
The Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a non-profit organization that promotes the interests of the business community in Lagos, Nigeria.

It provides a platform for businesses to express their opinions and concerns regarding legislative or other measures affecting trade, industry, commerce, and agriculture.
The Chamber led by its Director-General, Chinyere Almona, noted that delay will have significant implications for the implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act, which may require amendments.
Almona, in a statement noted that the chamber is concerned about the huge cost of petrol subsidy over the years and its implications on social and infrastructural developments.
She adds that the economic well-being of Nigerians, private and corporate, should be the focus of the government as such the subsidy removal program should implemented in time.
