Recently, Damilola Ayinde Marshal was appointed as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Tourism to Lagos State Governor.
The SSA on Tourism, took to her official Instagram page, @damimarshall_, to celebrate her appointment.
“I wish to express my profound gratitude to the people’s governor, Mr. Olusola Babajide Sanwo Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, for giving me the privilege to serve in the capacity of a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Tourism.
“Also, I want to appreciate the Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson Awoyinka, for the warm reception.
“I am very glad to work closely with her to take tourism in this city to the next level.
“Also, I want to thank the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mr. Iris Aregbe, for welcoming me.
“Furthermore, Tourism forms an integral part of the T.H.E.M.E.S. PLUS agenda of the Lagos State Government being championed by the Governor of the Youths, and I am prepared to function optimally in this new role.

“Moreover, I am confident that tourism in Lagos will be redefined to attain greater heights, particularly with the formidable team put together by his Excellency.”
Also, she commended the Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture on the giant strides taken so far.
For example, in ensuring that Lagos, being the centre of excellence, also remains an international tourist destination, attracting people from various parts of the world.

In addition, the newly appointed SSA on Tourism promised to work in line with the goals of the ministry.
The ministry is charged with innovation and progressive thinking, to ensure that the team puts this city on the international tourist destination map.
