Lady Gaga has revealed that her highly anticipated seventh studio album, “Mayhem,” will hit the shelves on March 7, 2025. Billboards popped up overnight in New York and Las Vegas, teasing the album’s release and making the announcement with a splash.
Lady Gaga took to social media to share her excitement, saying that the album is a return to her pop roots, but with a twist. “The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved,” she explained.
“It’s like reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.”
Upcoming Album
“Mayhem” is a 14-track project that promises to be a game-changer. The album features previously released songs “Disease” and “Die With a Smile,” and boasts an impressive list of producers, including Lady Gaga herself, Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein.
But that’s not all , Lady Gaga is set to debut the third single and accompanying music video from “Mayhem” on February 2, during a commercial break at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, she’ll also be performing at FireAid in Los Angeles on January 30, alongside Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Stevie Nicks, and Joni Mitchell, to benefit those affected by the recent wildfires.
Lady Gaga will also be honored with the 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award at the 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 17, and will headline Coachella on April 11 and 18.
In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Lady Gaga described “Mayhem” as “full of [her] love of music” and “so many different genres, so many different styles, so many different dreams.”
She promised that the album would be a wild ride, saying, “It leaps around the genre in a way that’s almost corrupt… And it ends with love. That’s the answer to all the chaos in my life – I find peace with love.”
