Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe, made history over the weekend by becoming the youngest player to reach 500 goal contributions in his professional career.
Mbappe’s impressive record consists of 313 goals and 187 assists in official matches for both his clubs and the France national team. He achieved this milestone after scoring the equalizing goal in Real Madrid’s 1-1 LaLiga derby draw against Atlético Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Notably, Mbappe reached this landmark faster than some of the greatest players in the history of the sport, including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar.
At the age of 26, Messi had accumulated 487 goal contributions, while Neymar and Ronaldo had tallied 492 and 302 contributions, respectively.
A significant portion of Mbappe’s record was established during his seven-year tenure at Paris Saint-Germain, where he scored an impressive 256 goals.
Since joining Real Madrid from PSG last summer, Mbappe has continued to impress, scoring 23 goals for the Los Blancos this season.
