Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his plans for retirement, suggesting that Al-Nassr will be his final club.
In an interview the 39-year-old stated that he is happy playing in Saudi Arabia and wants to continue.
“I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years. but probably I will retire here at Al Nassr,” Ronaldo said.
“I’m very happy at this club, I feel good in this country too. I’m happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue.”
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January 2023 on a lucrative deal, and has since scored 61 goals in 67 appearances.
He remains a regular starter for Portugal, but his international future is unclear. Portugal’s head coach, Roberto Martinez, has not made any decisions regarding Ronaldo’s future with the national team.
“We haven’t discussed anything regarding Cristiano’s future, and we won’t make any decisions until after the World Cup qualifiers,” Martinez said.
“Cristiano is still a very important player for us, and we’ll wait and see how things develop.”
