Harry Kane has joined up with England squad despite suffering injury during Bayern Munich’s clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Three Lions captain was forced off the pitch in Bayern Munich’s 3-3 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt in their latest Bundesliga fixture on Sunday.
Despite suffering a knock, Kane directly travelled from Frankfurt to join up with the national team ahead of their upcoming Nations League matches.
The Bavarian club provided an update on their star striker on Monday as their official statement read, “Harry Kane, who had to be substituted due to an injury, travelled directly from Frankfurt to the English national team and was examined by the Football Association’s doctors.
A more precise diagnosis is still pending.”
Other than Kane, there remains concern about the fitness of several other English stars namely Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White and Chelsea duo Levi Colwill and Noni Madueke.
Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa too had to be subbed off during their Premier League clash against Manchester United on Sunday.
