A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has reportedly been killed by rival party thugs in the state.
The deceased identified as Mudashiru Baraka was said to have been killed by the thugs on Wednesday morning in Oyo town.
According to PUNCH, the deceased was macheted to death by his assailants at his father’s house in the morning.

A statement by the State Publicity Secretary of PDP, Akeem Olatunji, on Wednesday, revealed that the deceased was murdered at his family house in Oyo town in the early hours of Wednesday and the matter had already been reported at Durbar Police Station in Oyo.
The PDP claims the attack was allegedly backed by some individuals in the opposition party, the ruling PDP in the state.
Others who escaped from the scene reportedly sustained various degrees of injuries.
The party appealed to the state Commissioner of Police, CP Adebowale Williams, to bring the culprits of the dastardly acts to justice expeditiously.
