The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, on Thursday, August 29, honoured the invitation of the Nigeria Police over alleged terrorism financing, treason and other charges.
Ajaero stormed the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) office at Old Abattoir by Guzape Junction, Abuja around 10:20 a.m.
He arrived in the company of renowned human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN).
Solidarity March
Meanwhile, the NLC had earlier directed its members to embark on a nationwide solidarity march on Thursday.

This nationwide march is to support Joe Ajaero as he appears before the police for interrogation.
As of the time of this report, leaders and members of the NLC have converged at the headquarters of the Congress in Abuja.
The Labour members started converging at the NLC headquarters as early as 8:00 a.m.
They are expected to proceed on a solidarity march with their President.
Also, security officers have been stationed a few meters away from the NLC building to prevent a breakdown of law and order.
