The 31-year had trained with West Ham and Steven Gerrard-managed Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq in the past few months, although a deal could not be agreed upon.

He was also linked with moves to MLS clubs. Before travelling to South Korea, Lingard was keeping himself fit by training alone in Dubai.

Other than reviving his football career, the former United player also wants to keep pursuing his interests outside of football in South Korea.
