Nigerian-Born Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter, Israel Adesanya, defeated Italian challenger, Marvin Vettori, to regain his middleweight belt at the Gila River Arena in Arizona, United States of America.
The New Zealand based Nigerian won by unanimous decision, scoring 50-45, 50-45 and 50-45 in the judges’ books.

The victory stretches Adesanya’s title defence to three wins since losing to Jan Blachowicz in the light heavyweight category.
