In Nigeria, there are 109 Senate seats and each state in the 36-state nation has 3 seats.
Recently election held in different states to feel the seats that will become vacant by the end of this current Senate tenure.
To help you know what party has majority in the Senate, the electoral body has released list of parties and the seats they occupy.
According to results from the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) won with 55 senators-elect.
The Peoples Democratic Party, which came in second, won 33 seats, while the Labour Party, which came in third, won 7 seats.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and the Young Progressives Party (YPP) each received one seat, while the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and the Social Democratic Party (SDP) each received two seats.
The seven political parties will compete on Saturday for the eight remaining open senate seats, according to the list of senatorial seats release by INEC.

Enugu East, Kebbi North, Plateau Central, Sokoto East, North, and South, Yobe South, and Zamfara Central are among the impacted districts.
INEC had previously declared that it would hold further elections in the affected senatorial districts.
