Newly evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Ben recently shared insights into his decision to leave the United Kingdom and participate in the show.
Ben was evicted during the season 9 edition on Sunday.
He discussed his reasons during a media interview on Wednesday.
As a nightlife promoter, Ben highlighted that his primary goal for joining the show was to leverage the platform to promote his business.
Also, he emphasised that his decision was not influenced by traditional employment constraints.
“First and foremost, I’m not doing a 9 to 5 job. Tjay reached out to me and said let us pair together. So if I was doing a 9 to 5 or under a student visa, I would not have come,” he explained.
Ben further clarified that he is a permanent resident in the UK.
This allowed him the flexibility to participate since his work in nightlife primarily revolves around weekends.
“I came for Big Brother to push my nightlife 100%. To sell myself. I tell people that I organize parties, and people would come to my parties,” he said
His statement reflects the significance of the show as a platform to expand his brand.
He noted that his tagline, “Action Ben, no party,” has become popular among his clientele.
However, he admitted that one of the challenges he faced was managing his financial responsibilities.
