“I commit myself to even more expanded delivery of good governance. In me, you find the truthful pro-people governor, the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, said.
The governor was responded to the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold his victory in the state’s gubernatorial election on July 16.
Adeleke stated that he will commit to expanding the delivery of good governance.
He spoke shortly after his Supreme Court victory on Tuesday.
According to a statement, the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal of the state’s immediate past governor, Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday, in a decision delivered by Justice Emmanuel Agim, that Oyetola based all of his allegations against the election on baseless and unfounded hearsay.
Celebrating his victory, Adeleke sought the support and cooperation of all Osun residents and citizens.
