System hackers have reportedly hijacked the Ogun State Government website.
Indeed, many unimaginable things are happening in Nigeria now. But surely, reports of hackers taking over a state government’s website has stirred nothing but concerns.

If true, then that means that apart from the insecurity Nigerians are suffering, it’s cyber space may not be as secured as claimed.
The Ogun state website, www.ogunstate.gov.ng, as of Wednesday morning, had been hacked.
Security Update
Checks on the website indicate that it has been taken over by “Aleister Crowley”.
“Update your security. Greetings from Maldives,” were the inscriptions on the website’s homepage at about 10:44 am.
Prompt Action
The Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, when contacted said he was not aware of the situation.
He, however, said prompt action would be taken on the development.
