Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Adamawa state governor met with representatives of the Nigeria INGO Forum (NIF) and other regional humanitarian bodies to discuss the implementation of the Adamawa State Action Plan for Durable Solutions on the sidelines of the Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum.
The high-level meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the state government and international organizations to address internal displacement through sustainable housing, economic empowerment, and social services.
Furthermore, Governor Fintiri emphasized the need for a coordinated approach linking humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding efforts.

In addition, he expressed appreciation for the INGO Forum’s commitment and invited broader partnerships to support the state’s vision for long-term solutions to displacement challenges.
