The Pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere has stated that the plan by the Federal Government to ban commercial motorcycle and mining activities as part of its strategy to curb insecurity was another evidence that scientific thinking does not characterise decision taking in the corridors of power.
Recall, that the Attorney General of Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami Addressing journalists after the National Security Council (NSC) meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari said investigation revealed that terrorists and bandits are using okada to launch attacks.

The minister said a nationwide ban on okada would hinder their activities and also cut off their sources of funds.
