Struggling Brighton forward Evan Ferguson is planning to leave the club amid interest from Fulham and Leicester City.
Almost a year ago, the Irish forward had signed his second contract extension with the Seagulls in the space of seven months and had cemented his place in the club’s starting lineup.
His fiery form had attracted interest from Premier League giants like Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, although a deal never materialised.
Brighton had even valued their young forward at £100m (€119m).
Things, though, have drastically changed for the player in the 2024-25 campaign as he is struggling for game time under new manager Fabian Hurzeler.
Ferguson has appeared in nine matches across all competitions so far, however, he has started only in three games.
Frustrated with his role in the team, the player is reportedly seeking an exit route, with clubs like Fulham and Leicester City eyeing a loan move, according to Football Insider.
The Cottagers have reportedly made the 20-year-old a priority signing for January while struggling Leicester City, who are currently without a manager, are in desperate need to reinforce their attack.
