Nigerian global music sensation D’Banj has unveiled details of his much-awaited fifth studio album, ‘Entertainer – The Sequel,’ set to be released on August 9, 2024.
The album features collaborations with a host of international stars, including Grammy award winner Wyclef Jean, Congolese icon Awilo Longomba, Senegalese music legend Youssou N’Dour, American superstar Akon, South African megastar DJ Maphorisa, and NBC’s The Voice sensation Chechi Sarai.
This new album, a follow-up to D’Banj’s 2008 magnum opus ‘The Entertainer,’ also includes contributions from prominent Nigerian musicians Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, and Chuchu Lee.
Ahead of the album release, D’Banj has dropped a new single titled ‘Worthy,’ featuring Youssou N’Dour and Chechi Sarai.
Released on July 19, the single offers listeners a preview of what to expect from the upcoming album.
‘Entertainer – The Sequel’ promises a creative blend of Afrobeats and Afropop, comprising eleven songs and two bonus tracks.
