Dammy Krane Apologises After Release From Detention

The apology, shared on X on August 30, 2024, comes after Krane’s arrest for allegedly defaming fellow artist Davido.

In his statement, Krane expressed remorse for his actions, saying, “I am sorry about everything, to my fans (I hope I still have fans lol). To my fans, if I still have, I am sorry. Moving on, expect good music from me and music only #lovealwaysleads.”

Krane’s legal troubles began shortly after he accused Davido of attempting to frame him with false allegations.

The singer claimed that he was being “arrested & oppressed for seeking justice” and held Davido responsible if anything were to happen to him.

On August 28, 2024, social media personality Verydarkman (VDM) revealed that Krane had been detained by the police.

VDM shared an account of his visit to the police station, where he reportedly saw Krane in custody and learned that the arrest was related to defamation claims against Davido.

VDM called for Krane’s release, urging Davido to drop the charges. The following day, Krane was released from detention.
