Popular nightlife entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has addressed the viral reports linking him to the man who recently received $30,000 from Afrobeat superstar Burna Boy.
In a statement shared via his Instagram story, the socialite clarified that the beneficiary was not his brother, contrary to widespread speculation.
The backstory began when Burna Boy pledged to give $30,000 to a phone repairer who previously gained attention online for claiming he was struggling despite being related to the flamboyant Cubana Chief Priest.
However, this claim emerged during a social media feud between the singer and the nightlife mogul.
Content creator Lucky Uduh recently posted a video confirming that Burna Boy had fulfilled his promise by giving the money to the man alleged to be Cubana Chief Priest’s brother.
The video quickly went viral, reigniting discussions about the relationship between the two individuals.
Reacting to the development, Cubana Chief Priest debunked the rumours, stating emphatically that the man in question is not his brother.
He revealed that he had only one biological brother and two sisters, all of whom were doing well for themselves.
On his Instagram story, he wrote: “Alleged brother! Skit makers and their antics. They’ve dragged this issue too far. But my concern is this—no alert, no cash.
“I just want to be sure my supposed ‘village boy’ actually received the money. Still, it’s my glory shining. Show proof of the money; maybe even a music verse would suffice.
