Chelsea have started the second season in a row without a main sponsor on front of their jersey.

The deal they had with Infinite Athlete last year expired in the summer and so far have not been able to find a replacement.

According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, the Blues are discussing a possible deal with Qatar Airways as well as two other airlines.

Qatar Airlines has already had major sponsorship deals with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Inter.

Chelsea turned their attention to securing a short-term deal to take up the vacant spot in July after the Infinite Athlete one ended.

However, their lack of Champions League football this season has affected their search.

Five games have already been played in the new Premier League season and Chelsea are still without a sponsor.

They will hope to get one secured soon, though no deal will go through before they face Brighton this weekend.
