Marvel Studios’ latest installment, “Captain America: Brave New World,” has earned $88.5 million in North America over its opening weekend.
The film is projected to reach $100 million domestically and $192.4 million globally by the end of the Presidents’ Day holiday February 17, 2025.
Internationally, “Brave New World” has garnered $92.4 million, bringing its global total to $180.9 million.
This release marks a pivotal shift in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Sam Wilson taking up the Captain America mantle.
In the domestic box office, the film outperformed other new releases, with “Paddington in Peru” which earned $13 million and “Heart Eyes” which brought in $10 million.
“Brave New World” is the first of three Marvel films slated for release in 2025, with “Thunderbolts” and “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” set to follow.
