President Muhammadu Buhari has launched a monitoring and Evaluation application and website known as EYEMARK.
The project was launched just before the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja, on Wednesday.
The president said the project was launched as the government could no longer depend on its Monitoring and Evaluation teams to oversee the different infrastructure projects in the country.
He reiterated his regime’s commitments and investment ms in infrastructure projects and believes it is only befitting that an avenue is created for citizens to monitor them.
The president also believes the project will promote citizens’ participation in government.

President Buhari revealed that with the project, “the status of projects, total a mound appropriated and dispensed so far are now available in the public space”.
He also advised ministries, departments, and agencies to corporate with the Ministry of Finance, Budget, and National Planning to put necessary information on the platform.
