The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has on Monday, fixed August 4, 2020, for its 2020/2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Things are gradually returning to normal after months of lockdown over coronavirus. Obviously, Education is not left out. Apart from Agriculture, Education is indeed the macrocosm of every other sector in Nigeria.
WAEC had last week, called on Nigerians to disregard the purposed timetable for the 2020/2021 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, timetable circulating online.
Be that as it may, the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, Monday said that the WASSCE has fixed August 4, for WAEC.
His words: “From the 4th of August to the 5th of September, please take note. Last week the Chairman of the PTF announced that school facilities will be available for those who want to go into revision classes.

“We have done the most we can with our representatives at WAEC and we have, this afternoon, confirmed that the dates allotted for the exams will be from the 4th of August through to the 5th of September.”
