Breaking: Tertiary Institutions to reopen on Sept 14 – Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said that Tertiary Institutions in the star will reopen on September 14th.

He said this today during a briefing of he state’s progress in the fight against COVID-19.

Sanwo-Olu said primary and secondary schools have been tentatively scheduled to reopen on September 21.

He said, ”This decision is not cast in stone and is subject to review of our ongoing modelling and what procedure comes out from the Ministry of Health.”

Schools have been shut across the country since March 19 because of the Coronavirus pandemic, but the update from the state government may mean that the most affected State is making seady progress in stemming the disease spread.
