The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo today led other stakeholders who spoke at the launch of Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan.
The Energy Transition Plan which is to guide the country toward achieving its objectives of universal access to energy by 2030 and a carbon-neutral energy system by 2060, was today launched by Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
According to Osinbajo, “Climate change is perhaps the greatest existential threat of our lifetime, the most reliable trends today shows that almost every habitable place is affected.
“Climate change affects agricultural output, impacts on energy production and so much more. The effect in Africa is already scary
He said, it is time to rise to the challenge
