The Chairman of Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area, John Campos has ordered the naming of a street after a Lagos lawyer that was killed by a trigger-happy policeman on Christmas day.
Campos during a visit to her family on Wednesday made his intention known to them, in honour of the deceased.
Bolanle Raheem was killed at Ajah while returning home with her family.
The police officers involved were detained and two of them have been released while one remains in custody.
The husband of the deceased, Gbenga Raheem, while addressing sympathisers, appealed for calm saying nothing could bring his wife back.

Friends and families of the deceased have sent condolences to the family.
President Muhammadu Buhari also sent his condolences promising that justice would be served.
Similarly, Lagos State Governor, Babjide Sanwo-Olu sent delegates to the family of the deceased to let them know of his commitment to providing justice to Raheem.
The Lagos State Police Command revealed that it has concluded an investigation into the unfortunate incident.
The State’s Police Spokesperson, SP Ben Hundeyin revealed this in an interview on Wednesday.
“The Investigation report is out and it has been forwarded to the IGP. The query and recommendation have also been forwarded. So, we have done our part from Lagos and those are two things that is required of us,” he said.
