Though President Bola Tinubu has promised to unify the multiple exchange rates in the country, yet Nigerians are wondering why the exchange rate on the parallel market is still very volatile.
Businessmen and investors are anxiously waiting for the moment when this unification of the exchange rates would come into effect.

As at the time of writing this article, currency dealers in Nigeria conduct currency exchange on the parallel market also known as black market at the rate of a dollar to ₦755 buying and ₦750 selling
While the second most traded currency, the Euro to Naira trades at ₦810 buying and ₦795 selling in the black market.
Moreso, the Pound to Naira exchange rate is ₦946 buying and ₦930 selling at the black market rate.
