Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland reunited to show their support for fellow Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams on the opening night of Death Becomes Her on Broadway.
The pair attended the performance at New York City’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, where Williams stars as Viola Van Horn in the musical adaptation of the 1992 dark comedy film.
Beyoncé marked the occasion with two Instagram posts over the weekend, sharing photos and videos from the event.
In one post, captioned “My Belle,” she included snapshots from her night at the theatre. Another post featured similar highlights, set to Cowboy Carter’s II Most Wanted, with the lyrics, “I’ll be your shotgun rider ’til the day I die.”
Michelle Williams responded to the heartfelt tribute, commenting, “I try not to cry too early in the day BUT……. My sisters 4ever!”
Death Becomes Her is originally a Universal Pictures film, starred Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, Bruce Willis, and Isabella Rossellini.
