Jude Bellingham will miss the first leg of Real Madrid’s Champions League round of 16 fixture after picking up a yellow card against Manchester City.

Los Blancos are on course to book their berth in the knockout stages of the Champions League following a thumping win over Manchester City in the playoffs. Riding on Kylian Mbappe’s hat-trick, the Spanish giants currently lead 6-2 on aggregate.
Despite a massive victory over the English champions, there is bad news for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as they will miss the services of Bellingham in the first leg of their round of 16 fixture.
The England international picked up his third yellow card of the competition after his rough challenge on compatriot Phil Foden in the first half.
Last weekend, Bellingham was shown a straight red card in the first half of the 1-1 draw with Osauna following remarks he made to referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero.
The official wrote that Bellingham said “f*ck you” to him, though the midfielder denied insulting him.
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) later hit the player with a two-game suspension as punishment for his “disdainful attitude” towards the referee.
