In the Nigerian music industry, there’s never been a love quite like the one shown for the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad.
People have expressed their affection for him in truly exceptional ways, including organizing candlelight processions not just within Nigeria but also from across the world.
One of the most recent and touching tributes took place in Canada, arranged by Mohbad’s closest friend, Bella Shmurda.
This candlelight event united fans and admirers from various corners of the globe to commemorate the cherished singer’s memory.
Speaking to the fans gathered at the procession, Bella began by calling the late singer, Mohbad his ‘brother, friend, and guy.’
He shared that he was in another country when his friend passed away.
Shortly after, he got a call from his friend’s mother, who asked him not to come back to Nigeria for now.
Bella Shmurda expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated in the procession and said they would continue to work towards getting justice for the ‘Peace’ Crooner’s passing.
