Bayern Munich have sealed a UEFA Champions League semi final place in spectacular fashion after dumping Barcelona out of the competition.
Having begun the game brightly, both teams scored a goal apiece within 10 minutes but that was the beginnning of Barcelona’s troubles.
The catalan side went on to concede three more, going into half time staring at a potential 4-1 defeat if things remained the same.

Barcelona came out fighting in the second half with a goal to take the scoreline to 4-2, however, four more goals from the germans meant the Bavarians would claim a famous 8-2 victory over thier counterparts and qualify for the next round.
UCL topscorer, Robert Lewandowski got on the scoresheet and also provided an assist, but it was braces by Barca loanee, Philippe Coutinho, and Thomas Muller that stole the show.
Ivan Perisic, Joshua Kimmich and Serge Gnabry completed the goals for Bayern while a Luis Suarez goal and David Alaba own goal helped Barca to two consolation goals.
