This achievement means that the hitmaker has accumulated over two billion streams from his songs and featured collaborations.
This remarkable feat comes three years after Asake broke into the mainstream with his hit single “Omo Ope” in January 2022.
Following the success of his debut EP “Ololade Asake,” he released a collection of hit songs that catapulted him to superstardom ahead of the release of his debut album “Mr. Money With The Vibes” in 2022.
Asake’s sophomore album “Work Of Art” was released in 2023, heralding his remarkable headline concert at the O2 Arena.
With three albums filled with memorable hit songs, Asake has enjoyed impressive commercial success, making him one of the most streamed Nigerian artists since 2022.
His record-breaking hit single “Lonely At The Top” finished at number one on Spotify Nigeria’s top songs of 2023.
Additionally, his other notable singles, such as “MMS” featuring Wizkid, “Active” featuring Travis Scott, “Fuji Vibe,” “Mood,” and more from his third album “Lungu Boy” and his recently released single “Military,” have contributed to his massive streaming success.
Asake has now become the 9th Nigerian artiste to surpass two billion Spotify streams across all credits.
