Now, more than ever, it is imperative to not live in denial of the security situation in the country at the moment.

A content creator identified as Chidike Emmanuel with the username on Twitter-X @Kryptoknighht has been shot dead in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

According to reports, Emmanuel was said to be on set for a production when he was shot dead in the Mpape area.

The skit maker was said to be among six people attacked by some armed men on Saturday, May 11.

The Attackers

It was gathered that the attackers, who were armed with machetes, initially demanded money to allow them to film at the location.

Chidike was said to have given the armed men ₦2,000.

However, the cause of Emmanuel’s death afterwards remains unknown.

Some other cast members who ran for safety suffered injuries.

An X user, Loveline Imaobong, informed the public on the microblogging platform that the victim was in a mortuary.

“The guy in the picture is lying lifeless in the mortuary; he was attacked. Any leads for his family members would be appreciated.

“They should please go to Mpape’s new police station, Berger Quarry. Please repost till it gets to them,” Imaobong wrote.

Furthermore, Imabong claimed that Chidi was among six people allegedly attacked by the armed men.

“Six of us were attacked, and he died in the process. We’re currently looking for information about any of his family members,” she added.

Chidi’s close friends on X are mourning him and also demanding justice.

According to @uchemark, the deceased was the only child of his parents.
