The All Progressives Congress (APC), has been subjected to heavy mockery after the announcement of Ahmadu Fintiri as the winner of the Adamawa State supplementary election held in on Saturday, April 15.
Now, Nigerians seem more convinced than ever, that the allegations of electoral fraud against the APC are not mere lies.
Also, the recent happenings in Adamawa State has sparked confidence in Nigerians, particularly supporters of the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
These supporters are now confident the could reclaim the presidential mandate which they allege was stolen on February 25.
Fintiri
The Independent National Electoral Commission earlier declared Fintiri the winner of the Adamawa State governorship election.
According to the Returning Officer, Muhammed Melee, Fintiri polled 430,861 votes to defeat his major counterpart, Aisha Dalhiru Binani of the APC who polled 398,788.
Melee says that the candidate of the PDP defeated thirteen other governorship candidates in the state to secure his re-election.
Reactions
Following the declaration, supporters of the PDP took to a micro-blogging platform to celebrate the victory of their candidate.
Supporters of the opposition parties also mocked the APC for always involving in electoral fraud and irregularities.
The APC supporters on the other hand claim that the election was manipulated.
