Singer, Portable, has been granted bail by the Ifo Magistrate Court in Ogun State of Ogun.
Portable landed in police custody on Friday, March 31, 2023 after displaying irrational behaviour and insulting Police Officers who were performing their legal duties.
The incident occurred at his bar.
While officers were at his bar on that fateful day, the controversial artist made an Instagram Live video.
In that video, Portable claimed that police came to his bar in Sango Ota at the request of an online scammer.
That video became viral and generated some internet controversy.
After that video, the musician was invited to the headquarters of the Ogun State Police Command.
Portable, however, chose not to appear.
The Zazzu singer was brought before the court on Monday on three counts that involve theft of musical instruments and assault.
He was given a 300,000 Naira bail, with two sureties in an equal amount by the judge.

According to the court’s decision, both sureties must own property close to the court.
A new date of April 26 has been set for the case. He must stay at the Ilaro Correctional Facility until his bond is satisfied.
