The popular South African artist Costa Tsobanoglou, professionally known as Costa Titch, has passed on.
On Saturday, March 11, 2023, the “Big Flexa” rapper reportedly died while entertaining fans at the Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg.
In a viral video, the singer fell down during the performance but continued singing after he was picked up by his bodyguard.
He, however, slumped a second time and had to be carried off stage.

Phil Mphela, a South African media personality, confirmed the news on Twitter late Saturday night.
Mphela stated in a tweet,
“Costa Titch, rest in peace.”
“Costa Tsobanoglou, a Nelspruit-born artist and dancer, died recently. He was 27.”

Titch was well-known for his contributions to the Amapiano genre, including hits such as “Big Flexa.”
Akon’s record label, Konvict Kulture, recently signed the rising star.

Costa’s death is yet another devastating blow to the South African music industry, following the death of his colleague, Kiernan Forbes, alias AKA, in February.
