Aisha Yesufu Lists What ‘Obidients’ Are Planning

You may be wondering what Obidients are doing after the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president-elect.

A loyalist to the Obidient movement and Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, is speaking up for them.

She says: “we will get our mandate back”.

Was Their Mandate Stolen?

Aisha became popular for playing a lead role during the 2020 End SARS protest.

It is no news that Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, was proclaimed the winner of the 2023 presidential elections on March 1, has his Certificate of Return.

However, for supporters of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, the declaration is a hard pill to swallow. They believe the election wasn’t a free, fair and credible.

As a result, in the video recording shared online, Aisha said: “We have a legal fight ahead, a fight to get our mandate back, and we are going to do it.

An Illusion Or A Fact?

“Don’t give up thinking that they control the court and you can’t get your mandate there. It is an illusion they want you to believe in.

“For example, many believed Tinubu couldn’t get defeated in Lagos because of the illusion that has been created of his having power over the city.

“We as a people have never focused on the judiciary, but now is the time to focus on them, not just the legislative and executive branches as we have been doing all along.

“Do not be afraid. They are telling you to go to court because they want you to believe they have control over the court as well, but do not fall for it, as it is an illusion they are trying to create in your minds.

“They do not own the court.

“We will get our mandate back this time.”
