As the newly redesigned naira notes of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, will start being dispensed today by banks and ATMs, financial expert Aare Oladeinde Ariyo has lambasted the National Orientation Agency (NOA) for doing nothing to educate Nigerians about the new currencies.
He said the NOA ought to currently be carrying out sensitisation all around the country and on all platforms. Ariyo noted that the agency should be talking to Nigerians about the forthcoming elections as well.
Furthermore, Ariyo explained that taking away money from circulation is not doing the system any good instead harm is being done, because money generates value when it goes around.
