The Governors of Rivers, Lagos and Oyo States, Nyesom Wike, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Seyi Makinde on Friday received honorary doctorate degrees from Ajayi Crowther University in Oyo.

iBrandtv gathered that the Governors were conferred honorary doctorate degrees in different disciplines during the institution’s 14th Convocation Ceremony at its campus in Oyo.

According to a statement issued by Sanwo-Olu’s Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, while the Rivers State governor and his counterpart in Oyo, were conferred Doctor of Law (Honoris Causa) and Doctor of Science in Engineering (Honoris Causa) respectively, the Lagos State governor was honoured with a Doctor of Public Administration (Honoris Causa).
34 other graduands were conferred with Doctor of Philosophy Degrees (PhD) in Mass Communication, English Language, Religious Studies, Business Administration, Computer Science, and Economics.
