The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command says it has rescued three people among those kidnapped by armed bandits in Abuja on Tuesday night.

This was confirmed by the Commissioner of Police, Sunday Babaji, in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday.
He noted that the swift response of men of the command in an aggressive manhunt of the assailants, resulted in the rescue of three victims and the recovery of firearms and ammunition, including one AK-47 riffle, 25 rounds of ammunition.
