The Governorship Candidate of the Lagos PDP, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR) has urged royal fathers in the state to see the N20 million presented to them by the Sanwo-Olu-led administration as common patrimony stolen by the this APC government.
Jandor made this statement through his spokesperson, Gbenga Ogunleye said the gesture is a due perk of office for the very respected monarchs in recognition of the important role they play in maintaining the peace in their locality, however, the motive of the government in delaying till election period to gain undue political mileage is distasteful.

The PDP flagbearer in Lagos appealed to the monarchs, civil servants and students to not be swayed by the gifts from this government. Stating that aside from the Greek gifts to the respected monarchs, the government also attempted to hoodwink the civil servants and students in tertiary institutions with promises of increases in salary and bursary allowance.
Jandor urged them to gladly see the gifts as part of our common patrimony which the outgoing government has been mismanaging and misappropriating in the last 23 years but that they should remain resolute to mobilize people in their realm of influence to vote their conscience in the forthcoming general elections.

He asserted that the desperation of the Sanwo-Olu-led government to save itself from the impending doom of colossal electoral failure in the 2023 elections will not work.
He assured them that the promise of a breath of fresh air by his government will accord due respect to all monarchs and traditional leaders in the state.
