Arsenal are apparently hoping that Gabriel Jesus’ and Youri Tielemans’ contract problems would help them land them in the summer transfer season.
According to The Athletic, the Gunners have many targets in mind this summer, with Jesus and Tielemans both appearing to be high on the list, despite the fact that they may cost a combined £75 million.
£75 million may appear to be a bargain for the two players, who would significantly enhance Arsenal’s midfield and attack.
According to the Athletic, Arsenal is hoping that Manchester City would decrease their expectations for Jesus, as £50 million seems a tad costly for someone who will be a free agent in a year’s time.
Arsenal had a rough season, failing to cling on to fourth place despite some dismal late-season form, and now Mikel Arteta and Edu must start all over again.
