Social commentator, Muda Yusuf, has decried the effect of oil theft on Nigeria’s environment.
While speaking during an interview on IBrandTV Daybreak, he addressed the projection of a N2.155 trillion loss to oil theft on the nation’s economy.
Yusuf commended the efforts of the government and security agencies in helping to protect pipelines which prove to be easy targets for vandals.
Describing the amount as humongous, he said there was need to consider the environmental impact of the attacks.
