Former presidential candidate and publisher of online news medium, SaharaReporters, Omoyele Sowore, has been shot and injured with a teargas cannister by a police operative in Abuja.
Sowore was reportedly shot on Monday by a female police officer at the Unity Fountain in Abuja.
The politician was at a rally with some associates when the incident happened.
He was rushed to a hospital, and details of his current wellbeing are unknown as of the time of filing this report.
