A fire outbreak at the Ondo-Ibadan axis of the Okobaba sawmill, Ebute Metta, Lagos State, has left many shanties razed.
The fire, according to reports, started in one of the shanties and quickly spread to others.
As of the time of filing the report, residents and firefighters had been unable to put out the fire.
The cause of the fire remains uncertain, and there has been no official word from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency’s Director-General, Femi Oke-Osayintolu.
