The embattled Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki has resigned from All Progressives Congress, APC.
This came days the party disqualified and rejected him as its flag bearer in the coming gubernatorial election.

Recall that Obaseki had on Saturday visited the governor of Rivers state, Nyesome, Wike for political advice.
Rumor had it that he was planning to join the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The governor said he would reveal his next move.
